Its funny how when I sit to write up a blog post I imagine a girlie narrator voice… you know like in the movies, with sighs, high-pitched expressions and vivid visuals of each word I type. But this isn’t a movie obviously, in fact these blog posts are the result of little voices in my head splurging out my kitchen escapades. The voices in this post however, are blurting out irreplaceable memories of one of the most exciting trip I had.
I have been meaning to work on my first Risotto for about a year now; it was one of 2 food related new years resolutions, the second being baking bread… it will come, I am going to do it before the end of 2012 for sure. I have seen, heard and read about a lot of Risotto recipes; creamy delicious, broth drenched granules of rice. I had picked up my Arborio rice about 2-3 months ago… and snip snip, the packet was finally opened. Continue reading
Friday morning, blue skies, the crisp air after the midnight rain… mmmm the day was all good and I was going to keep it so. Jumped on my computer, picked my soundtrack for the day… ‘Wonderful Life’ by Loius Armstrong… absolutely love his crooning voice!
Finally I have managed to catch the bug again.. the writing bug that is. Feels good and I am so happy I can finally put my thoughts and ideas on paper… or the web rather. There has been so much going on, I am struggling making time for myself to breathe. So here’s a quick catch up.
