A couple months back on my birthday I got a lovely message sent to me by Mr. BF; “Greetings from Benihana Restaurant Al Bustan Rotana Hotel. We are pleased to invite you on the upcoming Cooking Class (Sushi) for Benihana”
What has Celebration, nomination and sticky pork got to do with each other? Nothing really, except my heart is doing little somersaults every time I look back at the word nomination beside my name. Before I continue on that nomination let me start with the celebratory news; with my one year blog anniversary fast approaching, I am just in the midst of a lot of new changes, for the blog and my personal life as well. Friday morning, blue skies, the crisp air after the midnight rain… mmmm the day was all good and I was going to keep it so. Jumped on my computer, picked my soundtrack for the day… ‘Wonderful Life’ by Loius Armstrong… absolutely love his crooning voice!
April is a great month! The smell of spring in the air in Dubai… well… there isn’t much of a spring, but there are a few blossoming flowers, an entertaining and debaucherous April Fool’s day to start off with and immediately followed with an Easter Celebration and then 3 huge birthdays tucked in between (mine, my mum’s and my bestie’s ) its going to be hard keeping track of what to celebrate when.
